Agriculture Unit

• Patrols rural Collier County
• Assists in search and rescue
• Handles livestock and wildlife complaints and concerns
• Works with state and federal wildlife agencies

Deputies in the Agriculture Unit can be seen driving 4-by-4 trucks and airboats, and riding ATVs and horses.

Mounted Patrol

This part-time unit is made up of full-time deputies and volunteers and their horses.

The horses are used for security and crowd control, as well as community policing, parades and public relations functions.
