The Collier County Sheriff's Office is committed to educating our community in all facets of gun safety. We offer a free handgun safety course and strongly encourage members of our community to register today for this opportunity.

This section of our website provides information on registering for the handgun safety course, obtaining a concealed weapons permit, Florida State Statute as it relates to the legality of firing weapons on your property, and using the Collier County Sheriff's Office Gun Range.

To learn more about how to keep kids safe from guns.

The Sheriff’s Office offers a four hour handgun safety course free to the public. The CCSO handgun safety course qualifies the student to apply for a Florida Concealed Weapons Permit.
