The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is dedicated to providing its inmates with the educational and vocational tools that will help them succeed when they are released. When inmates do not reoffend, recidivism goes down and tax dollars are saved. The Inmate Programs mission is to create a safer community by effectively managing offenders and providing opportunities for positive change.

Here are the Inmate Programs offered to our inmate population:

  • Cell Dog Program*
  • Project Recovery*
  • GED Programs*
  • Culinary Arts*
  • AA/NA meetings
  • Mental health classes
  • One-on-one counseling
  • Healthcare lectures
  • Religious activities and classes

*These programs consist of mandatory classes within their curriculum that teach the inmate skills that are valuable to their success upon release.
