Deputies are investigating the death of a 54-year-old man following a report of a disturbance in Golden Gate early Saturday morning.

Shortly after 3 a.m., deputies were called to a report of a disturbance at a residence at 1345 Henley St. When deputies arrived at the residence they encountered a man who appeared to be disoriented. He suffered what appeared to be a medical episode.

The man, who was identified as John Michael Denaro, 14532 Sterling Oaks Drive, was transported to an area hospital where he later was pronounced deceased.

An investigation continues.
